vCenter Server SSL Certificate replacement

Every year (I’ve learned my lesson, from now on every three years…) I have to replace the certificate that the VirtualCenter service uses.  Every year I neglect to document the process, which means that every year I have to turn to a post by Leo Raikhman that describes the process in detail:
